Description

Cuthbert.  An African Pied Crow who used to water-ski across the kitchen floor attached by his beak to my cat’s tail.  Cuthbert came as the runt of a brood from a nest on the railway line.  He learnt how to brew an Earl Grey tea bag, squiggle with a pencil, call the cats in from the garden and then imitate everybody’s laughter when they came running.  He had a highly evolved sense of humour and was always good company to me on the windmill.  Cuthbert had a very insistent and raucous begging call, once fed he gave little ‘Bill & Ben’ appreciative num num..
